Julio Victoria, a bold liminal electronic artist from the heart of the Colombian coffee region. Who’s taken the global scene by storm. Whether it’s with his live band, as a DJ, and even alongside the Colombian philharmonic orchestra, Julio is a true electronic artist characterized by a mix of rawness and melody.
From underground DJ sets and festivals, to full scale live performances with over 50 orchestral musicians, his sound bridges house, techno, and contemporary classical music. Whether playing on international stages or niche clubs, Julio delivers immersive, genre defying experiences that blur the lines between the intimate and the epic.
Very quickly, Victoria reach the top of his country’s music scene, not only as a DJ, but also as a producer. His raw but always melodic and layered cuts, opened doors to international festivals such as Fusion Festival, Dimensions Croatia, III Points Miami, Flow Festival Helsinki , Kolorádó Fesztivál Hungary, Sónar Bogotá, Nuits Sonores, Estéreo Picnic, BAUM Festival, and many others.
Victoria’s music has also filled dancefloors at Printworks in London, Contact in Tokyo, Space in Miami, Concrete in Paris and Seoul, Zukunft in Zurich, Jagger in Oslo, Larm in Budapest, LuxFrágil in Lisbon, Truth in Johannesburg and Good Room in New York.
His vision has led Julio to transcend the dance floor and he’s performed on numerous non-traditional and iconic stages across the world. His experimental Live project is at the vanguard of house and techno music, It can start from 80 bpm and go up to 126 bpm, exploring various sonic propositions along the way. A show that has been performing at relevant international festivals in Asia, Europe, South America, the United States, and Russia.
